TUBITAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) has expanded its service portfolio abroad with the request from the Russian Federation. A request was received from the Russian medical device and equipment sector for "cytotoxicity, irritation, sensitization" tests conducted according to the ISO 10993 international standard test protocol. Again, a request was received from a private company operating in the Russian aviation industry for "jet fuel" analysis. Thus, the number of countries where testing and analysis services are provided by TÜBİTAK MAM has reached 24 in 4 continents.

TÜBİTAK MAM Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Makaracı, who made a statement on the subject, emphasized that they have determined their strategic vision as 'becoming a world-leading R&D center' and that they aim to prevent the flow of foreign currency and information abroad by performing special quality tests and analyzes needed by Turkey with advanced device and equipment infrastructure. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Makaracı stated that as a result of increasing the international recognition of the Center, test and analysis requests have been received from Europe, Asia, Africa and America since 2015.
