A total of 3,367 applications were received from 81 provinces for the painting contest themed "Science at the Poles in the 100th Anniversary of our Republic" organized by TÜBİTAK MAM Polar Research Institute and the Presidency of Science and Society in order to raise public awareness about the poles. As a result of the preliminary evaluation carried out by the Selection Committee Members, 99 works qualified for the finals. The first, second and third place winners were determined for each of the primary, middle and high school categories.

About the Exhibition and Award Ceremony:
The 99 finalist works will be exhibited on December 4-5, 2023 at Yıldız Technical University Davutpaşa Campus within the scope of the 7th National Polar Sciences Symposium and 3rd Polar Festival. An award ceremony will be held on the same day for the owners of the first, second and third place winners.
