The management review meeting of the project, which is carried out by the Power Electronics Research Group of TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) Energy Technologies Vice Presidency Power Electronics Research Group and aims to develop a 6 MW Photovoltaic Central Inverter with Storage, was successfully held in Ankara.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Doğan Gezer, Vice Presidency Coordinator of TÜBİTAK MAM Energy Technologies, and attended by Serdar Bayar, Director of UGES Energy Systems at ASELSAN A.Ş., unit managers and the engineering team. During the meeting, the current progress of the project was discussed in detail, while the activities planned for the upcoming period and the strategies to be followed were also comprehensively evaluated.
The project continues to take important steps towards the development of innovative energy technologies. The Photovoltaic Central Inverter with Storage technology aims to increase efficiency in solar energy generation and ensure the continuity of renewable energy resources with its energy storage capacity. During the meeting, the progress made within the scope of the project and the contributions of this technology to the national energy infrastructure were discussed.
This project, developed in collaboration with two pioneering institutions such as ASELSAN and TÜBİTAK MAM, is an important milestone in line with Turkey's renewable energy targets. The project is expected to attract international attention both in terms of the energy sector and sustainability.
TÜBİTAK MAM continues to contribute to the energy transformation of our country by maintaining its leadership in the field of renewable energy with projects such as these. The next steps of the project will focus on the integration of energy storage systems and photovoltaic technologies.
