TUBITAK Marmara Research Center gave a seminar on solid waste collection and disposal to Kırıkkale provincial and district municipal solid waste experts. In the seminar; information was given on the current status of the waste management system on provincial basis, determination of solid waste collection and disposal costs, creation of software for monitoring and tracking municipal waste, and creation of waste management and cost plans. In the seminar, information was also provided on current issues such as the current waste situation, waste processing and recovery facilities, waste collection and disposal costs through field studies in the province.
