On December 10, 2016, we condemn and condemn the treacherous act of terrorism that took place in Istanbul on December 10, 2016, targeting the unity, solidarity and peace of our country, leading to the martyrdom of 44 citizens, including 36 police officers, and the injury of 149 citizens.

As TUBITAK, we condemn all acts of terrorism, their perpetrators and supporters that aim at the existence of the Republic of Turkey, the survival of our homeland with its nation and state, and the peace and security of our people. Terrorism cannot be justified and legitimized in any way. Our country will continue its struggle against terrorism shoulder to shoulder, hand in hand with its state and nation, with a sense of unity and solidarity, without giving up or backing down, and will eliminate all attacks and treacherous plans against the existence and indivisible integrity of the Republic of Turkey as in the past.

We wish mercy to all martyrs who lost their lives in this attack, healing to the wounded, and condolences, patience and fortitude to our nation.
