The Protocol Signing Ceremony of the Protective Textile Testing Center (KOTTEM), which will be realized in cooperation with TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center, Eastern Marmara Development Agency and Gebze Technical University, was held under the chairmanship of Governor of Kocaeli Mr. Seddar Yavuz with the participation of TUBITAK Marmara Research Center President Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan, Vice President Assoc. Dr. Murat Makaracı, Vice President Mehmet Sait Karaca, Rector of Gebze Technical University Prof. Dr. Muhammed Hasan Aslan, Secretary General of Eastern Marmara Development Agency Mustafa Çöpoğlu and the accompanying delegation.

In his speech, Mr. Seddar Yavuz, Governor of Kocaeli, said that our country's ability to become a country that competes and competes with the world depends primarily on its scientific capacity, its ability to follow technological developments and to produce technology.
