The second "Organic Electronics Workshop" organized by TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) Materials Institute Photonic Technologies Group was held on November 23, 2017.
In his opening speech, Dr. İbrahim Bekar, Vice President of TÜBİTAK MAM, gave information about the current state of the field of organic electronics. Metin Nil (VESTEL), İbrahim Susin (ARITEKS), Prof. Dr. Ali Çırpan (METU), Prof. Dr. Canan Varlıklı (Izmir Institute of Technology), Prof. Dr. Ayşe Gül Gürek (Gebze Technical University), Assoc. Dr. Hakan Usta, Assoc. Dr. Ceylan Zafer (Ege University), and Sermet Koyuncu (Çanakkale 18 Mart University) took part in the workshop as invited speakers.
The speakers informed the participants about their work on organic solar cells, organic light emitting diodes and organic transistors, perovskites, sensor applications as well as conjugated polymer synthesis and electro-chromic devices, their results and the latest developments.
