Mr. Miles Armitage, Ambassador of Australia to Turkey Mr. Miles Armitage visited Prof. Dr. Burcu Özsoy, President of TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM).

During the meeting, detailed information about Turkey's polar research program was shared. In addition, the cooperation opportunities that the two countries can realize in the Polar regions were evaluated.

The visit is seen as an important step in strengthening scientific cooperation between Turkey and Australia and developing joint projects in polar research. Prof. Dr. Özsoy informed Ambassador Armitage about TÜBİTAK MAM's projects and future goals and discussed potential cooperation opportunities.
