National Defense University (MSU) Air Force Academy Basic Sciences Department personnel Assoc. Prof. Turgut Ak, Military Sciences Department personnel Dr. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hv. Eng. Lieutenant Commander Emrah Köksalmış and Dr. Lecturer Aytuğ Boyacı from the Department of Computer Engineering Sciences. Prof. Dr. Aytuğ Boyacı visited TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) on March 13, 2023 to exchange ideas on future projects and activities.

Within the scope of the visit, Dr. Mert Akel, Vice President of Materials Technologies at TÜBİTAK MAM, Dr. Hüseyin Aydın, Group Leader of Metallic Materials Technologies, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatmagül Boyacı San, Deputy Leader of Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Research Group, Dr. Şahin Ateş, Deputy Leader of Structural Materials Technologies Research Group, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emine Tekin, Deputy Leader of Sensor and System Technologies Group participated in the meeting held with the MSU Air Force Academy Delegation.

After the meeting, the Composites Laboratory, Underwater Acoustics Laboratory (SAL), High Temperature Materials Research, Development and Repair Center of Excellence, Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Laboratory under the Vice Presidency of Materials Technologies were visited and information was given about current projects that are important in the defense industry.
