Welcomed by Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan, President of TÜBİTAK MAM, Dönmez examined the infrastructures of the Energy Institute and the Materials Institute and received information from experts about the projects carried out.

Fatih Dönmez, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, examined battery studies at the TÜBİTAK MAM Energy Institute and turbine blade production at the Institute of Materials. The only infrastructure in our country for the production of turbine blades and other parts of turbines, which are the most critical equipment of thermal power plants for electricity generation, is within the TÜBİTAK MAM Institute of Materials. Domestic turbine blades and other parts produced at the High Temperature Center of Excellence of the Institute of Materials were examined and opinions were exchanged on the issue of bringing them into our economy.

Fatih Dönmez, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, emphasized that our cooperation for domestic technology should continue to increase.
