A large number of TBT-01 Ver:1.01 transducers were prepared for the Turkish Navy, completed by TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center Materials Institute and delivered in June 2017.
Turkey's first Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) National Sonar Transducer "TBT-01 Ver:1.01", developed by TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM), Institute of Materials, Advanced Acoustic Technologies Group within the scope of the MİLGEM Program, was successfully integrated into the Heybeliada Corvette in July 2009, and as a result of the implementation of the National Sonar Transducer (TBT-01 Ver:1.01) in the inventory of the Turkish Navy, a significant contribution was made to the national economy and security.
In this context, a large number of TBT-01 Ver:1.01 transducers were prepared for the Turkish Navy within the scope of a project, and all tests and characterizations were completed at the Underwater Acoustic Laboratory of the Institute of Materials and delivered in June 2017. Within the scope of this project, the development of TBT-01 Ver:1.02 DSH transducer, which can operate at lower frequencies, has been targeted for the Turkish Navy and preliminary studies have been completed.
Proje kapsamında %100 Milli üretim hedeflenerek, yüksek adetli transdüser üretimi için yerli altyükleniciler kullanılmış ve malzeme yerlilik oranı %90’ın üzerinde gerçekleşmiştir. Bu yaklaşım sonucunda TBT-01 Ver:1.01 transdüseri birim maliyeti, yurt dışı muadillerinin birim maliyetinin %25’i mertebesinde sağlanarak, bu kritik teknolojinin üretiminin milli olması sonucunda ülke ekonomisine önemli katkı sağlanmıştır.
In order to expand the use of the TBT-01 Ver:1.01 transducer on national platforms, project-based collaborations are established with local companies and national product solutions are offered to companies.
