The Arctic hosts hundreds of scientists every year as a region that holds the codes of the scientific world. The mysteries here also shed light on climate change in other parts of the world.

INTERACT Arctic Science Photographs book was compiled from the photo applications made in 2020. While more than 800 photographs competed in the applications, a total of 107 works by 50 photographers with 107 different stories were entitled to be included in the book. Among the 50 photographers, Sinan Yirmibeşoğlu, a researcher from the TÜBİTAK MAM Polar Research Institute, who immortalized the work of Turkish scientists at the North Pole with his lens, took his place as the only Turkish artist with 3 photographs. The photographs include: Arctic birds accompanying the pieces of ice breaking off from glaciers meters high; Expedition leader and Acting Director of the Institute Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burcu Özsoy's moment when one of the drawings made by middle school students with the theme of the poles was exhibited in the north; documentary cinematographer Burcu Camcıoğlu's frame capturing natural life from a window.
