The Indonesian delegation consisting of senior officials from the Indonesian National Nuclear Energy Agency (BATAN), Science Institute (LIPI), Research and Community Service Institute (LPMM), Diponegoro University and Islamic Development Bank (IDB) visited TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) and TÜBİTAK Marmara Teknokent (MARTEK) on November 8, 2017.
The delegation headed by Falconi Margono, Secretary General of the Indonesian National Nuclear Energy Agency, was welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Makaracı, Vice President of TÜBİTAK MAM.
Business development officials attended the meeting held at MARTEK. The activities carried out by TÜBİTAK MAM and MARTEK were explained to the delegation with presentations made by the officials. During the meeting, possible collaborations between Indonesia and TÜBİTAK were discussed. Cooperation in the fields of Nuclear Technologies, Nanotechnology, Coal and Biogas Combustion and Gasification was discussed. After the meeting, laboratory visits were made to the TÜBİTAK MAM Materials Institute and Energy Institute. Communication between the institutions will be maintained.
