Deputy Minister of National Education Prof. Dr. Mahmut ÖZER visited TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus on March 12, 2021.
Welcomed by Prof. Dr. Hasan MANDAL, President of TÜBİTAK, Dr. Osman OKUR, Vice President of TÜBİTAK MAM, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burcu ÖZSOY, Vice President of TÜBİTAK MAM, and Erdal BAYRAM, Director of the National Research Institute for Electronics and Cryptology, the Deputy Minister visited TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM), TÜBİTAK Informatics and Information Security Advanced Technologies Research Center (BİLGEM) and Turkish Industry Transfer and Administration Institute (TÜSSİDE).
As part of the visit to the TÜBİTAK MAM Materials Institute, the Millimeter Wave and Terahertz Technologies Laboratory (MİLTAL), Underwater Acoustics Laboratory (SAL), Photonic Technologies Laboratory and the Center of Excellence for Biomaterials, Bioelectronics and Biomechanics were visited. Detailed information about the products and infrastructures was given by the researchers. Subsequently, during the visit to the TÜBİTAK MAM Energy Institute Fuel Cell Technologies Laboratory, information was given about the Fuel Cell Training Kit. Energy Institute Fuel Cell Vehicles were introduced.
During the visit to TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, the Deputy Minister visited the B3Lab Prototype Data Center, the Deringörü Prototype Application Laboratory, and the Crypto Products Laboratory, and received information about the work carried out.
Following the visit to TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology, Mr. Mehmet Fatih KACIR and Mr. İsmail DOĞAN, Director of TÜSSİDE, welcomed the Deputy Minister and received information about the activities carried out at the Institute.
Prof. Dr. Mahmut ÖZER, Deputy Minister of National Education, expressed his satisfaction with the work carried out at TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus and completed his visit.
