On August 29, 2013, a delegation of 180 people, consisting of officers from the Land, Air and Naval War Academies of the Turkish Military Academy, under the chairmanship of Lieutenant Commander Hasan AKKAŞ, a faculty member of the Turkish Military Academy, visited TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus. Within the scope of the visit, introductory presentations of TÜBİTAK UME, MAM and BİLGEM were made in the morning at TÜBİTAK UME Conference Hall. After the presentations, the visiting delegation was divided into three groups as Land, Naval and Aviation, and each group visited an institute and was informed about the activities carried out and various projects were introduced. Afterwards, these groups alternated and visited all the institutes. During the visit to TÜBİTAK MAM, the visiting delegation was shown the MİLTAL laboratory, and general information was given by the researchers about the work carried out in the laboratory. In addition, the Air, Land and Naval commanders responsible for the delegation left the group and visited the vice presidents, and the visit program was completed.
