In line with our vision of being among the leading countries in the world with its original scientific studies on polar sciences, national science expeditions to the polar regions (Arctic and Antarctica) are organized regularly every year under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey and under the coordination of TÜBİTAK MAM Polar Research Institute (KARE). With the expeditions, it is aimed for our scientists to conduct original, sustainable and high quality scientific studies on polar sciences, to ensure cooperation with scientists of other countries and to make our country one of the respected countries that have a say in the polar regions.

In line with these objectives, the 2025 Calls for the CUP-1001 and CUP Foreign Research Base Participation project calls, which will support scientific studies on the "Poles", were opened on 12/08/2024 within the framework of the conditions determined by TÜBİTAK-MAM KARE and ARDEB. Within the scope of the calls; "Scientific Research Budget" is 900.000 TL and the amount of Project Incentive Bonus (PTI) that can be paid within the scope of the project is 100.000 TL. The deadline for online application for these calls is 27/09/2024 and the deadline for the completion of the e-signature process is 30/09/2024.
