TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) hosted a delegation of 24 people from the Bahrain Society of Engineers (BSE).
During the meeting held within the scope of the visit, cooperation opportunities in areas such as energy technologies, food technologies, biotechnology and earth sciences were discussed. The delegation was introduced to the advanced scientific research infrastructures of TÜBİTAK MAM and informed about the current projects and studies in these fields.
Critical issues such as innovative technologies, sustainable energy solutions, food safety, biotechnological innovations and chemical process technologies came to the fore during the meetings. In particular, the importance of implementing innovative projects in the field of education through joint training programs, conference participation and similar activities was emphasized.
The BSE delegation expressed that they would be pleased to welcome the participation of TÜBİTAK MAM researchers in the conferences and events they organize. The visit was considered as an important step to strengthen cooperation and develop joint projects between BSE and TÜBİTAK MAM.
Following the meeting, the BSE delegation was given a tour of the Incineration and Gasification Pilot Plant, Biomass Coal Incineration and Gasification Laboratory, Photovoltaic Technologies Laboratory and Fingerprinting Laboratory within TÜBİTAK MAM, and given detailed information about the studies carried out.
