TRANSFER OF "A FORMULATION AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF INTRAOCULAR LENSES"

1 - TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER

The know-how of the technology subject to the patent family, which is the output of the project titled "Optimization of the Intraocular Lens (IOL) Production Process Produced by Photopolymerization and Synthesis of Oligomers and Preparation of Formulations that can Cure with UV-Rays" developed by TÜBİTAK, and the national and international patent applications numbered TR2014/05120 made within the scope of this technology, in accordance with the procedure stipulated by the Regulation on the Management of Intellectual Property Rights and Technology Transfer of TÜBİTAK, will be transferred for 5 (five) years with the simple licensing method for a technology transfer fee open to all bidders who meet the conditions sought by our Institution.

3 - TECHNOLOGY INTRODUCTION INFORMATION

It is a formulation and production method that enables the production of flexible, biocompatible intraocular lenses with a shelf life suitable for long-term storage, used in medicine, ophthalmology, cataract surgery, for example, to eliminate eye problems such as cataracts.

The Technology Transfer Package will be shared with the applicants after signing a Confidentiality Agreement.

 

4 - APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Conditions to be met by the company
  1. The companies that will transfer and use the technology must be established as a commercial company at the time of application.
  • Documents Required to be Submitted by the Company
  1. Declaration of address for notification, as well as telephone number, document-passer number and e-mail address, if any, for contact,
  2. The chamber of commerce/tradesmen's chamber of commerce/tradesmen's chamber of commerce/tradesmen's chamber of commerce in which it is registered and the copy of the chamber registration record containing the commerce/tradesmen's registration number and the tax identification taxpayer number,
  3. Signature declaration or signature circular showing that the person who will sign the contract is authorized,
  4. Trade Registry Gazette taken in the year in which the date of the contract is dated, showing the latest situation indicating the partners, members or founders of the legal entity and the officials in the management of the legal entity, if all of this information is not included in a Trade Registry Gazette, the relevant Trade Registry Gazettes or documents showing these matters to show all of this information and the notarized signature circular of the legal entity
  • Persons Not Eligible to Apply

a) Those who are temporarily or permanently banned from participating in public tenders by the administrations or by court decision in accordance with the provisions of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734 and other laws, and those who are convicted of crimes or organized crimes within the scope of the Anti-Terrorism Law No. 3713 dated 12/4/1991, or of the crime of bribing public officials in their own country or in a foreign country,

b) Those who are decided to be fraudulently bankrupt by the relevant authorities,

c) Real persons and legal entities reported by the Turkish National Police (TNP) to be affiliated with or in contact with terrorist organizations, and real persons and legal entities with foreign connections reported by the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) to be within this scope.

NOTE: In the negotiations to be held, TUBITAK is free to make or partially make the technology transfer.
