The SCAR 2020 Conference, which brings together expert scientists and new researchers in Antarctic studies and is organized every two years by the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research, will be held on August 3 - 7, 2020. The event, which was planned to be held in Hobart / Australia this year, has been moved to the online platform due to the global pandemic. The conference is an opportunity for researchers to interact with each other and for the audience to see polar studies closely. Many different types of activities such as presentations by invited speakers, scientific sessions, mini-symposia, poster presentations will be held at the conference.
Conference website (www.scar2020.org) became active on July 8. This year, there is great interest in the conference, where papers by scientists from our country are also accepted (http://kare.mam.tubitak.gov.tr/tr/yan-menu/scar).
