In order to encourage high school students to work on polar sciences, 2204-C High School Students Polar Research Projects Competition was organized by our Institution for the first time this year and project applications were received between 15 December 2021 - 11 May 2022.

This year, 611 project applications were received for the competition organized in 4 main fields: Humanities, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences and Earth Sciences. Project applications were evaluated by the jury formed in each main field and 60 projects were determined to participate in the Final Stage Evaluation.
