Turkey's leading tea producer Doğuş Çay's Vice Chairman Alpaslan Karakan and Business Development Manager Atilla Karcebaş visited Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan, President of TÜBİTAK MAM.
Doğuş Tea officials, who aim to determine the right strategies in the face of changing consumer preferences and to take place in the market with innovative products, received detailed information about the projects carried out at the TÜBİTAK MAM Food Institute and the studies on tea.
After the meeting, the TÜBİTAK MAM Food Institute Pilot Plant was visited and the activities carried out were examined on site.
The importance of developing the cooperation between Doğuş Çay, which has a large production capacity with its tea factories in Rize and Ordu, and TÜBİTAK MAM was emphasized.
