Dr. Ersin Uresin was born in Gebze in 1978. Since 2024, he has been serving as the Vice President of Materials and Process Technologies at TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center. He received his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sakarya University in 2001 and his Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university in 2005. In 2012, he completed his PhD degree at Kocaeli University, Department of Mechanical Engineering.
