TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal and TÜBİTAK Vice President and TÜBİTAK MAM President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yozgatlıgil came together with TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center employees at the '2022 Year Evaluation Meeting'.

The meeting started with a video presentation of the achievements of TÜBİTAK's units, institutes and centers in 2022.

The event continued with the opening speech of Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yozgatlıgil, Vice President of TÜBİTAK and President of TÜBİTAK MAM, on the meaning and importance of the day.

Yozgatlıgil continued his speech by saying, "In 2022, we completed the structuring of TÜBİTAK MAM. In a period when technological studies gained importance, we established a technology-based structure where the walls between the institute structure were broken down." Yozgatlıgil wished that 2023 would be more successful for everyone.

After Yozgatlıgil's speech, a short video prepared by TÜBİTAK MAM within the scope of important projects and activities realized in 2022 was watched. Afterwards, Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal, President of TÜBİTAK, delivered a speech.

Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal said, "We will need your competencies even more in 2023. TÜBİTAK MAM carried out important activities in 2022. These works will be carried further in a positive sense. We should focus on what we can do newer and more diverse than what we have completed."

Expressing his good wishes for 2023, Mandal concluded by saying, "I hope that 2023 will be a more exciting year, full of science and technology."
