With National Technology Move, We Help Turkey Gain Qualified Human Resources.
In line with National Technology Move and to help Turkey gain qualified human resources, TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) makes a significant contribution to the “co-developing” and “co-achieving” approach applied by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) in the ecosystem.
With a great project-based scholarship program conducted for the first time in Turkey, we encourage STAR Scholarship Holders and other scholarship holders to get acquainted with R&D culture and to take the first steps into innovation, production, R&D studies and research ecosystem with the guidance of our expert staff and by means of all our capabilities in the institute laboratories. The scholarship holders assigned to various Institutes and laboratories in Marmara Research Center are allowed to benefit from the all national facilities and capabilities of MAM in the campus.
We Aim To Help Turkey to Have A Technology Producing Community
With the project-based scholarship program, TÜBİTAK MAM family supports successful students in gaining research experience in the science and technology fields they are interested in. Besides academic studies, we keep supporting undergraduate students by involving them in scientific research projects in order to help them enhance their creativity, engineering, problem-solving and intellectual skills by means of all our capabilities.
We hold the MAM Institutes Promotion Program for our scholarship holders with a view to enlarge their perspectives beyond the working fields of the Institutes or Laboratories they are assigned to, and to let them know other institutes of MAM.
We Introduced TÜBİTAK MAM, RUTE and TÜSSİDE to the Researchers of the Future
The promotion program, which was originally planned for STAR Scholarship Holders, was opened, by popular demand, to all interns, scholarship holders in the Center, master and PhD students in Turkey and abroad and to all our staff. Then, by the popular demand from our students, we added TÜBİTAK Rail Transport Technologies Institute (RUTE) and Turkish Institute of Management Sciences (TÜSSİDE) to our program.
The two months long Institute Promotion Programs were realized with 40-minute presentations and 20-minute Q&A sessions by our expert staff. During the programs, it was remarkable that the students were excited and curious when our expert staff gave information and answered questions in Q&A sessions. The students were given the contact information of our training staff so that they can get in touch with them when they have questions.
The students participating in the event, including the ones from abroad, expressed their gratitude to TÜBİTAK MAM for the organization of such a program and their wish for the continuation of such programs.
