Our project, carried out under the auspices of the President of Turkish Republic and supported by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, won a big prize by ranking in the Project Contest of Turkish Confederation of Employer Associations (TİSK) named Common Future. Our project, awarded with 30 thousand public votes in the category "Possible When Together", attracted attention with its pioneering and innovative approach to the future of Turkiye.
This significant achievement crowned a nationally outstanding scientific study in the competition, evaluated in terms of effectiveness, inclusiveness, good practice, sustainability, innovation, entrepreneurship, digitalization, work culture, hygiene and well-being. The solution-oriented approach and scientific contributions of our project were appreciated by the jury members.
At the award ceremony, on December 1 World Antarctica Day, with the participation of the Minister of Labor and Social Security Prof. Vedat IŞIKHAN, the award representing the success of the project was handed to the President of TÜBİTAK Prof. Hasan MANDAL who reiterated the high potential of Turkiye in science and technology.
This achievement also marked an important step not only in the world of science but also in the fields of social development and sustainability. With the success of the project, TÜBİTAK MAM Polar Research Institute has further strengthened Turkiye's strong position in science and technology in the international arena.
