The 2nd Istanbul Aerospace and Technology Festival (TEKNOFEST) was inaugurated by the Minister of Industry and Technology Mr. Mustafa VARANK at Istanbul Atatürk Airport.
In his opening remarks at the Istanbul Aerospace and Technology Festival, Minister VARANK stated “The young members of the society who today demonstrate rocket launches, make drone races and manufacture energized vehicles will probably design the state of the art aircrafts, smart cities and space vehicles of the future. Some young people here will turn into the astronauts, scientists and tech-entrepreneurs of the future. They will lead us to our dreams.”
VARANK advised young people to have an entrepreneurial spirit and said “You, always, come up with new ideas and make innovations. Never stop dreaming or pursuing your dreams”.
Investigating the projects demonstrated in the festival, Minister VARANK visited the booth of TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) with the Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Mr. Mehmet Fatih KACIR, TÜBİTAK President Prof. Hasan MANDAL and the Chairman of T3 Foundation Mr. Haluk BAYRAKTAR. The Minister paid a special attention to the products of Marmara Research Center and got detailed information about the products.
TEKNOFEST Istanbul Aerospace and Technology Festival was visited by around 1.5 million people, and the visitors showed a great interest in the booth of MAM.
