Union of Municipalities of Turkey (TBB) held a meeting for Water and Sewage Administration Directors on “Technological Approaches in Municipal Services: TÜBİTAK Model”.
The meeting was attended by the State Presidency Local Administration Policies Council Chairman Prof. Şükrü KARATEPE, the President of the Union of Municipalities of Turkey and the Metropolitan Gaziantep Mayor Ms. Fatma ŞAHİN, TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center President Prof. İbrahim KILIÇASLAN and Directors of Water and Sewage Administrations.
Ms. Fatma ŞAHİN noted TÜBİTAK has an important role in the use of national resources and in figuring out the R&D statuses of Turkish institutions and TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center has many studies that concern Water and Sewage Administrations.
TÜBİTAK MAM President Prof. İbrahim KILIÇASLAN talked about the foundation and studies of Marmara Research Center, and expressed that they are ready to work with municipalities in many fields like environment, energy, earth/marine sciences and food technologies, and invited them to MAM.
