Deputy Minister of National Education Prof. Mahmut ÖZER visited TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus on 12 March 2021.
The Deputy Minister was welcomed by TÜBİTAK President Prof. Hasan MANDAL, TÜBİTAK MAM Acting President Dr. Osman OKUR, TÜBİTAK MAM Vice President Assoc. Prof. Burcu ÖZSOY and the Director of National Research Institute of Electronics and Cryptology Mr. Erdal BAYRAM; and he paid a visit to TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM), TÜBİTAK Informatics and Information Security Research Center (BİLGEM) and Turkish Institute of Management Sciences (TÜSSİDE).
As part of the visit to TÜBİTAK MAM Materials Institute, the delegation investigated the Millimeter Wave and Terahertz Technologies Laboratory (MİLTAL), the Underwater Acoustics Laboratory (SAL), the Photonic Technologies Laboratory and the Biomaterials, Biomechanics and Bioelectronics Center of Excellence. Research specialists informed the visiting delegation in detail on products and infrastructures. Then, during the visit to TÜBİTAK MAM Energy Institute Fuel Cell Technologies Laboratory, the delegation was briefed on the Fuel Cell Training Kit and the Fuel Cell Vehicles of Energy Institute.
At TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, the Deputy Minister investigated B3Lab Prototype Data Center, “DerinGörü” Prototype Application Laboratory, Crypto Products Laboratory and got information about the ongoing studies.
Then at the Turkish Institute of Management Sciences (TÜSSİDE), the Deputy Minister was welcomed by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Mr. Mehmet Fatih KACIR and TÜSSİDE Director Mr. İsmail DOĞAN, and was briefed on the studies conducted at the Institute.
The Deputy Minister of National Education Prof. Mahmut ÖZER finalized his visit by expressing his pleasure from the studies conducted in TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus.
