TÜBİTAK President Prof. Hasan Mandal and TÜBİTAK Vice President and TÜBİTAK MAM President Prof. Ahmet Yozgatlıgil met with TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center employees at the '2022 Evaluation Meeting'.
The meeting started with a video presentation on the achievements of TÜBİTAK units, institutes and centers in 2022.
TÜBİTAK Vice President and TÜBİTAK MAM President Prof. Ahmet Yozgatlıgil made an opening speech about the significance of the day.
In his speech, Yozgatlıgil said, “We completed the structuring of TÜBİTAK MAM in 2022. At a time when technological studies gain importance, we switched from an institute-based structuring to a technology-based structuring where the walls in-between were demolished” and he wished 2023 to be more successful for everyone.
After Yozgatlıgil's speech, a short video was shown about the important projects and activities carried out by TÜBİTAK MAM in 2022. Then, TÜBİTAK President Prof. Hasan Mandal gave a speech.
In his speech, Prof. Hasan Mandal said "We will need your competencies even more in 2023. TÜBİTAK MAM carried out important studies in 2022. These studies will be carried to a further point in a positive sense. We should focus on what we can do that is newer, more diverse, rather than what we have accomplished.”
Expressing his good wishes for 2023, Mandal concluded his words by saying, "I hope 2023 will be a more exciting year full of science and technology."
After the speech, TÜBİTAK President Prof. Hasan Mandal met and chatted with TÜBİTAK MAM employees.
