TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) took part in the SAHA EXPO Defense and Aerospace Industry Fair, which was held for the second time this year at Istanbul Expo Center on 10-13 November 2021.
SAHA EXPO was held with the supports of the Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Industry and Technology, Ministry of Commerce and Presidency of Defense Industries, and the event was inaugurated with the participation of the Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Hasan Büyükdede, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Çetin Ali Dönmez, Deputy Minister of National Defense Muhsin Dere, President of Defense Industries İsmail Demir, President of TÜBİTAK Prof. Hasan Mandal and TÜBİTAK MAM President Prof. Ahmet Yozgatligil.
Turkish national products introduced
TÜBİTAK MAM took part, both physically and virtually, in SAHA EXPO Defense and Aerospace Industry Fair organized by Turkey's largest industrial cluster SAHA Istanbul at Istanbul Expo Center. Turkish national technologies and R&D capabilities were introduced at the event that brought together manufacturers, suppliers and companies engaged in production for the defense, aviation, maritime and space industries. B2B meetings were held.
At the fair, TÜBİTAK MAM introduced its products like Chemical Warfare Agents Detection Device (MAM-CDET), Anti-Submarine Warfare Sonar Transducer Element (TBT-01), Single Crystal Turbine Blade, Fuel Cell Military Bag, Plastic Bonded Explosive Production, Self-Contained Respirator Chemicals, Fuel Cell Module and Components.
TÜBİTAK MAM Booth Attracts a Great Interest from Bureaucracy
During the fair hosting a great number of national and international visitors from the business world and attended by high level officials of the state; the Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Gebze Technical University Rector Muhammed Hasan Aslan, SAHA Istanbul Board Chairman Haluk Bayraktar and senior bureaucrats visited the booth of TÜBİTAK MAM and got information about the products.
