Sri Lanka Ambassador H.E. Mohamed Rizvi HASSEN and the accompanying delegation were welcomed by TÜBİTAK MAM Vice President Prof. Burcu ÖZSOY and briefed by the Cleaner Production Institute Deputy Director Assoc. Prof. Haldun KARAN, the Energy Institute Deputy Director Assoc. Prof. Fehmi AKGÜN, the Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Institute Deputy Director Assoc. Prof. Abdullah KARADAĞ, the Food Institute Deputy Directors Ms. Sena SAKLAR AYYILDIZ and Dr. İncinur HASBAY on the study fields of the Institutes..
Then the delegation visited the Biodegradable Waste Recovery Laboratory and Water Safety and Dissolved Oxygen Laboratory under TÜBİTAK MAM Environment and Cleaner Production Institute, the Plant Molecular Biology and Genetics Laboratory under TÜBİTAK MAM Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Institute, and the Products Exhibition Area of the Food Institute and the Fuel Cell Laboratory and the Combustion and Gasification Pilot Plant of the Energy Institute, and got on-site information on the studies, products and infrastructures of the Institutes.
