TÜBİTAK MAM participated in “Graduate Studies Symposium and Promotion Days Event 2019” that was held by Gebze Technical University (GTÜ) Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences on 17-18 June 2019.
The symposium was inaugurated with the opening remarks of GTÜ Natural and Applied Sciences Institute Director Prof. Muhammed Hasan ASLAN. Then, TÜBİTAK MAM President Prof. İbrahim KILIÇASLAN delivered a presentation in which he expressed that domestic products must be supported and that technological development in Turkey is possible only by the production and proper use of information. Then he underlined the importance of producing high-tech industrial products in order for Turkey to avoid middle income trap and highlighted the role of universities in the production of information.
Attracting a great deal of interest from students, the booth of TÜBİTAK MAM introduced the activities of MAM.
The Rector of GTÜ Prof. Muhammed Hasan ASLAN presented a plaque and a certificate of appreciation to the President of TÜBİTAK MAM Prof. İbrahim KILIÇASLAN for his participation and support.
