Under the “Breath for the Future” campaign for a greener Turkey, around 14 million saplings were planted in tree planting events held at 2023 points across Turkey in three hours.
With a circular issued by the President of Turkey, the 11th November has been declared as the National Forestation Day.
On the 11th November 2019 at 11:00a.m., a sapling planting ceremony was held in the Gebze Campus of TÜBİTAK.
