The launch of CBRN Focused Technology Network (CBRN OTAĞ) organized by SSB was held on 17 November 2022. OTAĞ activities, which will be carried out in order to determine the current capabilities in the field of CBRN Technologies in our country, to evaluate the studies carried out in the world, to determine the technology topics that need to be studied in our country in the short, medium and long term, are planned to continue under the focused study groups of "Detection/Diagnosis Technologies", "Protection Technologies" and "Decontamination Technologies". OTAĞ studies will allow making a CBRN Technology Roadmap.
The Launch Meeting was attended by CBRN Defense Technologies Research Group Personnel of TÜBİTAK MAM Life Sciences Vice Presidency who made a presentation on the activities to be carried out in the field of Decontamination Technologies as the Focused Working Group Leader. CBRN Defense Technologies Research Group Leader Dr. Ebru KIZILAY ALTINEL and Team Leaders Assoc. Prof. Emel MUSLUOĞLU and Dr. Melek EROL are at the Executive Board of CBRN OTAĞ Studies. The CBRN Defense Technologies Research Group is planned to take an active role in all focused working groups in the CBRN OTAĞ studies, which are planned to last for 1 year.
