Turkish Presidential Health and Food Policies Council Chairman Prof. Serkan TOPALOĞLU and the Council Members Prof. İbrahim Adnan SARAÇOĞLU, Prof. Necdet ÜNÜVAR, Prof. Zümrüt Begüm ÖĞEL, Dr. Zülfüye Füsun KÜMET, Dr. Ümmü Gülşen ÖZTÜRK and the faculty member at Yıldız Technical University Food Engineering Department Prof. Osman SAĞDIÇ visited TÜBİTAK MAM on 20 June 2019.
During the visit, the President of MAM Prof. İbrahim KILIÇASLAN briefed the delegation with a presentation on the capabilities and importance of MAM in terms of R&D. Then, the Deputy Director of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Institute Assoc. Prof. Abdullah KARADAĞ and the Director of Food Institute Assoc. Prof. Cesarettin ALAŞALVAR made a presentation on the “health and food” products and studies of the Institutes.
After the presentations, the delegation visited the Centers of Excellence and laboratories of TÜBİTAK MAM.
