Consul of Mexico in Istanbul Mr. Julio César Escobedo FLORES and Cultural Attache Ms. Paulina Toledo BURGUENO visited TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) on Wednesday, 10 July 2019.
The delegation was received by the President of TÜBİTAK MAM Prof. İbrahim KILIÇASLAN, the Vice President Assoc. Prof. Murat MAKARACI and the Advisor Mr. Murat ŞAHİN. Prof. KILIÇASLAN expressed his pleasure from the visit and stated that Mexico and Turkey are the largest 15th and 17th economies of the world, the both countries have young populations and a developing nature and TÜBİTAK MAM is ready for cooperation especially in R&D considering the bilateral relations of the countries.
The Vice President Assoc. Prof. Murat MAKARACI briefed the visiting delegation on the infrastructure and products of TÜBİTAK MAM and highlighted the importance of possible fields of study.
