Third Brokerage Event on Functional Food and Health was held on 19 – 20 March 2015 as a part of EU – FP7 – REGPOT Project on “Improving Research Capacity of TUBITAK MRC Food Institute on Functional Foods, Nutraceuticals, and Natural Health Products – NutraHEALTH (www.fp7-nutrahealth.com)” coordinated by TUBITAK MRC (Marmara Research Center) Food Institute. Three project topics were formulated for submission to the European Commission’s Directorate General for Research & Innovation under Horizon 2020 program with the participation of 13 scientists from different European countries including Spain, Italy, Greece, Lithuania, Germany, Poland, Serbia, Finland, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark and Turkey who have been specialized in their fields of research.
