Contract signing ceremony of the projects qualified for support in the "Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem Call" opened for the first time by the TÜBİTAK Technology and Innovation Support Programs Office (TEYDEB) in 2022 was held at the Information Commercialization Center of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce.
The ceremony was attended by Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa VARANK, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih KACIR, President of TÜBİTAK Prof. Dr. Hasan MANDAL, TÜBİTAK Vice President and MAM President Prof. Dr. Ahmet YOZGATLIGİL, representatives from the public, academia and business world.
The "Artificial Intelligence Applications in Monitoring the Effects of Climate Change with New Generation Air Quality Measurement Systems" Project of Air Quality and Environmental Noise Technologies Research Group under TÜBİTAK MAM Climate Change and Sustainability Vice Presidency was among the projects qualified for support within the scope of the Call.
The project aims to develop innovative solutions supported by the internet of things and artificial intelligence in order to increase the measurement quality of low-cost sensors and to ensure the continuity of measurement data healthily and accurately. It is also planned to carry out positional optimization studies using artificial intelligence technologies. Thus, it is aimed for the measurement systems, produced more economically than their counterparts, to represent the air quality in a certain area in the best way with optimum number of sensors.
TÜBİTAK Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem Call Contract Signing Ceremony ended with a group photo shoot.
