Turkish Coal Enterprises Institution (TKİ) visited TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) on 29 December 2021.
During the visit, a meeting was held between TÜBİTAK MAM and TKİ. The meeting on cooperation opportunities was attended by TÜBİTAK Vice President and TÜBİTAK MAM President Prof. Ahmet Yozgatlıgil, TKİ Director General Dr. Hasan Hüseyin Erdoğan, Vice President of MAM in charge of Business Development and Industrialization Dr Osman Okur, TKİ Deputy General Director Mustafa Mert Ayaz, TKİ Head of Department Serdar Fidancı, TKİ Head of Department Ayşe Tarakçıoğlu, EE Deputy Director Assoc. Prof. Fehmi Akgün, KTE Deputy Director Assoc. Prof. Şerife Sarıoğlan and engineers and research specialists from TÜBİTAK MAM. At the meeting, presentations on potential cooperation issues were made by specialized personnel from TÜBİTAK MAM Institute of Chemical Technology (KTE) and Energy Institute (EE).
After the meeting, TKİ delegation visited the Institute of Chemical Technology Coal and Biomass Research Laboratory, Inorganic Analysis Laboratories, Energy Institute Combustion and Gasification Pilot Plant Site and Gas Technologies Laboratory. The delegation was given on-site information about the products and infrastructures of the Institutes.
