TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center’s Patent Support Unit under the Vice Presidency of Strategy and Technology Development held an event marking the “World Intellectual Property Day” on 26 April 2017 in Gebze Campus of TÜBİTAK with a broad participation of researchers. The event was announced at the web site of WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) which is an organization under the umbrella of the United Nations.
The Manager of the Patent Support Unit Ms. Gülsen OKSAY stated that the event aimed at raising awareness on intellectual property rights on the 26th of April, which is the anniversary of the establishment of WIPO, and made a presentation on “Patent Awareness and the Improvements Introduced by the New Turkish Industrial Property Law”. The event was finalized with questions and answers on the field.
