The 4th International Nuclear Power Plants Summit that brought together domestic and foreign companies operating in nuclear energy sector was held on 8-9 March 2017 at Pullman Istanbul Convention Center.
The Acting President of TÜBITAK Marmara Research Center Dr. Orkun HASEKİOĞLU participated in the opening ceremony of the Summit and delivered a speech. Dr. Orkun HASEKİOĞLU expressed that TÜBİTAK attributed importance to the attainment of such advanced technologies to help Turkey achieve a leap in science and technology and briefed the participants on TÜBİTAK’s supports in this field.
During the Summit, TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center delegation including the Vice President in Charge of Strategy and Technology Development Assoc. Prof. Murat MAKARACI, Business Development Unit Manager Mr. Nuh YILMAZ and representatives of Institutes had bilateral meetings with many companies. The representatives of Environment and Cleaner Production Institute, Chemical Technology Institute, Materials Institute, Earth and Marine Sciences Institute informed the summit participants on the projects of the institutes.
