Türkiye Polar Data Center
The Turkish Polar Data Center, established by TÜBİTAK Polar Research Institute (KARE), is a special platform where scientific data produced within the scope of the National Polar Science Program, National Polar Science Strategy and National Polar Science Expeditions carried out since 2017 are managed in accordance with the FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable) principle.
With annual expeditions to the two polar regions and increasing international cooperation, Türkiye is gradually strengthening its role in polar sciences, advancing research and innovation, logistics capacity and scientific diplomacy on a global scale.
