MAMsorbent works on the principle of accumulating pollutants in the environment by filling sampling tubes used in air quality measurements.

Working Principle

With passive or active sampling methods, air is passed through a tube containing MAMsorbent. VOCs in the air attach to the surface of the material. Then, in the laboratory, this tube is heated (thermal desorption) and the captured pollutants are sent to sensitive analyzers such as gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) to determine their types and quantities.
