TÜBİTAK MAM GETS "ZERO WASTE" CERTIFICATE

Within the scope of “Zero Waste” project carried out by the Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning under the auspices of Turkish First Lady Emine Erdoğan; TÜBİTAK MAM was rewarded with a "Zero Waste Certificate" for the actions taken by MAM administration.

TÜBİTAK MAM, which has been operating its waste management activities in accordance with the TS EN ISO 14001 Environmental Management System -being in force since 2005, has made  improvements needed in the reduction of waste generation, use of environmentally friendly products, waste sorting and recycling thanks to the contributions of a "Zero Waste Team". Also, with the Zero Waste Trainings, the awareness of the employees on environment and zero waste approach was raised.

TÜBİTAK MAM, which has always been a pioneer with its environmentalist approaches, has adopted the principle of transforming the zero waste concept into a lifestyle, and has obtained the basic level “Zero Waste Certificate” issued by the Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning, upon declaring its waste management efforts.
